Kolhapur: The centralized admission process for Class XI admission will start on June 17 at 32 colleges in the city.
The Class X marksheets will be distributed at colleges on June 15, after which students can get application forms from six designated centres, said deputy director of education M K Gondhali.
The education department has arranged four workshops for students to sensitise them about the centralized admission process and the documents required for admission.
"We appeal to the students and parents to attend the workshop so that they can get authentic information about the process. They can ask questions to the officials to clear their doubts. We are also arranging workshops for clerks, teachers and officials who are handling distribution and collection of admission forms," Gondhali said.
The city has Class XI 13,400 seats and we see no hurdle in accommodating the aspiring students, he said, adding that the entire CAP will be handled from Rajaram College. The process will end on June 30, when the final list will be announced.
